ABOUT
Dana Jaye Cadman is a writer of literary and speculative fictions and poetries.
Her debut poetry collection, Nova, is winner of the 42 Miles Press Poetry Award, forthcoming 2026. Her poetry has appeared in Conduit Magazine, North American Review, Academy of American Poets Poem-a-Day, New England Review, Southeast Review, Four Way, Conduit Magazine, and elsewhere, and her stories in Mystery Tribune and Saturday Evening Post, among others.
Awards & Honors: Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and Best Small Fictions, placed as finalist in the Jake Adam York Prize, Georgia Poetry Prize, Hollis Summers Poetry Prize, Barry Hannah Prize for Fiction, the Great American Fiction Contest, and longlisted for the Uncharted What the Wild Carries Prize, and elsewhere. Her feature drama screenplay placed as Quarterfinalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards and Second Rounder at Austin Film Festival.
She is an Assistant Professor of Writing at Pace University.
